An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file <*.mdf> failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share.

This message generally indicates that SQL Express and/or IIS need to be restarted; see System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Failed to update database “...mdf” because the database is read-only above.
